Ways to Fund Disability Care

National Disability Insurance Scheme

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) serves as a social safety net for disabled Australians. It offers financial assistance and access to resources that enable disabled persons to live freely and participate in their communities.

This government-funded initiative has provided NDIS participants with disabilities with the assistance they deserve to live their lives to the fullest potential.

Disability Support Pension

If you have a disability that affects your capacity to work and are 16 or older, you may be eligible for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).

Also eligible are those who are chronically blind or have a physical, intellectual, or mental disability that will prevent them from working 15 or more hours per week for at least the next two years.
