Providing Excellence Through the Australian Aged Care System

Remaining independent at home is important to living a fulfilling life. That’s why we provide tailored support through government-funded Home Care Packages, designed to help seniors with everyday living.

Our experienced support workers assist with personal care, household tasks, gardening, and social outings. We listen carefully to your needs and create a flexible care plan that respects your choices while improving your comfort, safety, and wellbeing.

What is a Home Care Package?

A Home Care Package (HCP) is a government-funded program that supports Australians aged 65+ (50+ for First Nations Australians) who need extra help to continue living at home.

Packages cover assistance with daily care needs, domestic work, gardening, transport, and social outings.

Package Levels Available:

  • Level 1: Basic support needs
  • Level 2: Low-level care requirements
  • Level 3: Intermediate care needs
  • Level 4: High-level complex care

The level you receive is determined by an assessment through My Aged Care, based on your individual support needs.

Home Care Packages are flexible. If your needs increase, you can request a review through My Aged Care, which may result in approval for a higher-level package. Your care plan with Basic Home Care will also be updated to reflect your changing requirements.

Yes. Many clients use their package alongside other community services, respite care, or privately funded supports. This ensures you have a complete mix of care tailored to your needs.

If you’re placed on the National Priority System waitlist, you may be eligible for entry-level support through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) while waiting for your Home Care Package.

Home Care Packages will transition into the government’s new Support At Home program. This upcoming change will simplify the funding system, but you’ll continue to receive the same type of in-home care services through Basic Home Care.

Yes. Once you are assigned a package, you’ll sign a Home Care Agreement. This outlines your services, costs, and responsibilities, ensuring everything is clear and transparent.

Disability Support Services

What are disability support services?

Disability services provide assistance to people with disabilities so that they can live independently and participate in the community. These services can include help with everyday tasks, personal care, transport, and access to education and employment.

How can I get funding for disability support services?

There are a number of ways to finance disability services. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government-funded program that provides financial assistance to people with disabilities.

You may also be eligible for government benefits such as the Disability Support Pension (DSP) or Carer Allowance. Private funding is another option that can be used to cover the cost of services not covered by government benefits.

Do I qualify for disability support?

To qualify for disability support, you must have a physical, intellectual, or psychiatric condition that limits your ability to participate in day programs and activities. You will also need to provide proof of your condition from a medical professional.

How can I apply for disability support?

If you think you may be eligible for disability support, the first step is to contact a support provider to discuss your needs. They will assess your eligibility and help you to develop a care plan.

An individual must have a severe disability as a consequence of permanent impairment (physical, intellectual, cognitive, neurological, visual, or psychosocial) in order to receive an NDIS plan and assistance.
